Chef Eric grew up on a small farm in northeast CT where raising livestock and tending gardens was a way of life. At the age of 17 his restaurant career started in the dish room of a full service restaurant. During his tenure he moved up from the dish room to Sous Chef. When Eric was 22 he moved to Florida and began honing his restaurant skills as a waiter/bartender at several North Pinellas County restaurants before owning his first restaurant in downtown Palm Harbor. During that time he won multiple best chef awards and other accolades for his culinary skills. Now Eric and his wife Katie has settled in at the long time Tarpon Turtle location with the goal of making this the preeminent Key West themed waterfront restaurant in North Pinellas County.
